Making matters more complicated, each distributor has their specific guidelines for order preparation and shipment.

a2b provides an online portal, OpsView, directly into our robust Warehouse Management System for the client to log their orders, including any distributor-specific requirements. Because the system is real-time, a2b personnel react quickly to process the order. Items are scanned for accuracy, pallet loads are built to spec and the orders are shipped via LTL carrier, managed and later reconciled in-house by a2b. Shipment information is available to our client in real-time via OpsView.
